It sounds simple. But for most wineries, the data that would make it possible lives in different places, serves different purposes, and rarely comes together at the moment it's actually needed. Today, at C7 Innovate, we launched more than 10 new features built around a single belief: when wineries have intelligence at every touchpoint, everything changes. More meaningful visits. Stronger clubs. Customers who feel known — and come back because of it.

Here's what we built.

Know more about every guest — before they say a word

The best hospitality is informed hospitality. But you can't personalize an experience you don't have data for.

Guest Intelligence gives your team context about first-time visitors the moment they book or check in — whether they're an active club member elsewhere, how much they typically spend at wineries, how many they've visited within the last two years. All drawn from an anonymized network of 3,000+ wineries across the Commerce7 ecosystem. You're not starting from zero anymore.

We also added customer Likes/Dislikes — so your customers can tell you directly what they loved and what didn't land — and SMS Opt-In at checkout, club signup, and reservation booking, so your subscriber list grows at every key moment in the journey.

And for wineries that need to reach the right local audience: radius search by zip or postal code is now available in the query builder and dynamic tags.

Know what's about to happen — not just what already did

Most analytics tell you what happened. Commerce7 now tells you what's about to happen.

Club Churn Prediction uses 43 behavioral signals — email engagement, reservation history, club edits, order frequency, and more — to identify members likely to cancel in the next 30 days. The model is 74% accurate and improving. When you know who's at risk, you can act before they leave.

Club Signup Prediction applies the same framework in the other direction. When a customer has visited multiple times, engaged with your emails, and shown the signals of someone ready to join, Commerce7 flags them — so your tasting room staff can have the right conversation at exactly the right moment.

Ask Pip takes it further. Ask plain-language questions about your data and get real answers, instantly. No exports, no queries. Just answers. And on your busiest days, Reservation Standups synthesize all of your guest insights into a single AI-powered briefing — so your team walks into the morning already knowing who to prioritize.

Reach every customer with the right message at the right time

Intelligence is only valuable when you act on it. We built the tools to make that easier.

Email Automations are now live — event-triggered templates for abandoned cart, order placed, and birthday, with reservation completed, club anniversary, and more coming soon. Set them up once and Commerce7 handles the rest. For wineries that aren't running a full email program yet, this is the place to start.

We also made meaningful improvements to how campaigns send and perform: faster batch delivery, five new templates, the ability to send one-off emails directly from a customer profile, and unified campaign reporting inside WinePulse that pulls in data from Klaviyo and Mailchimp alongside Commerce7 native sends.

Make every online interaction feel personal

Commerce7's Personalization Engine has been rebuilt from the ground up with machine learning and AI. It now looks at what customers buy together, what drives repeat purchases, and broader behavioral patterns — not just individual order history.

That powers three things at once: smarter product recommendations on your site, updated automatically; Related Products on every product page, personalized to each customer as they browse; and Dynamic Cart Upsells at checkout, surfacing the right product for each customer with no manual curation required.
